Friends & Family CPR

This class is ideal for expectant, new and experienced parents, grandparents, babysitters, scouts and anyone who wants to know how to save a life!

If your child or loved one were choking or stopped breathing, would you know what to do to help them?

It can take first responders more than 10 to arrive in many places. Knowing what to do could save the life of your loved one.

Would your spouse, babysitter, child care provider or siblings know what to do?  If not, register them for this class!

This class is for anyone who wants to learn the latest guidelines for CPR and Choke Saving techniques for infants, children and adults. Even if you’ve learned CPR before, the guidelines changed significantly in 2010! Come to this informative and fun class taught by a certified American Heart Association CPR and First Aid Instructor where you will learn what to do to save a life and have the opportunity for hands on practice on mannequins.

$30 per person. Includes a booklet and supplemental hand outs. If you need certification, the instructor will offer testing (practical only) for Heartsaver Certification. Please indicate certification is needed when you register and for an additional fee of $15 to cover testing and a certification card, you can be tested after class for Heartsaver. If you require BLS Health Care Provider certification there is additional material that must be taught and both a written and practical exam. Please inquire for scheduling.
